The implementation of a 24/7 SOC provided continuous monitoring across Microsoft 365, user identities and managed devices. Rather than relying on reactive support, Evolution Surgical gained around the clock protection backed by cybersecurity specialists capable of identifying and responding to threats before they could impact the business.

Impersonation Prevention

At the same time, Oxana implemented impersonation prevention technologies to help protect the Evolution Surgical brand from email spoofing, phishing and business email compromise attacks. This strengthened trust in communications with hospitals, suppliers and healthcare professionals.

SMB1001 Certification

Cybersecurity governance was further enhanced through the introduction of the SMB1001 framework. Rather than treating security as a collection of disconnected products, Oxana established a structured programme focused on governance, risk reduction, policy development and long term cyber resilience.

AI Enablement with Anthropic Claude

During the engagement, Oxana worked closely with Evolution Surgical to explore how Artificial Intelligence could create practical business value. As part of this initiative, we assisted the organisation with the integration of Anthropic Claude into its Microsoft 365 environment.

The objective was not simply to deploy another AI product. The goal was to help Evolution Surgical unlock the value already contained within its business information, communications and documentation while maintaining appropriate security and access controls.

By integrating Claude alongside Microsoft 365, Evolution Surgical gained access to next generation AI capabilities that could assist with information retrieval, document analysis, meeting preparation, knowledge discovery and productivity improvements. Importantly, access remained governed through existing Microsoft identity and security controls, ensuring users could only access information they were already authorised to see.

This project demonstrates how Oxana goes beyond the traditional responsibilities of a managed service provider.
